It is a studio, forum and shared stage for artists, primarily from Norway and Germany. It serves both to preserve memories and shape the future.
The Edvard Munch House invites artists of different media to live and work in the historic atmosphere of the house.
It is open to contemporary artistic positions and interdisciplinary dialogue. It offers a space to experience German-Norwegian cultural exchange in practice.

Notice: The Edvard Munch House does not accept unsolicited applications for exhibitions or residencies. Please understand that we cannot review or return unsolicited submissions.
